Calgary wedding/ surprise wedding at Vendome Cafe/ Blake + Dakota

Imagine getting an invite to an engagement party because your friends just got engaged. That is what Blake and Dakota did, they invited all their closest family and friends to their engagement party at Vendome. This beautiful restaurant is located in the neighborhood of Kensington in Calgary.

While everyone was having a great time congratulating the newly engaged couple, and having drinks and appetizers little did they know that they were getting news that they got married early that morning at their house. Blake’s best friend was the officiant and that same morning they called other friends to be their witnesses.

When it was time for the couple to do a speech and thank everyone for being there for them to celebrate this engagement, they finally announced it, they got married in the morning and that was their actual wedding and not their engagement party. What a surprise!!!
