Emarald Lake Engagement Session

Emerald Lake is one of my favorite lakes and maybe not as famous as others- That is what I wanna believe.

It is located in Yoho National Park, British Columbia. This national park is one of the 4 contiguous National Parks in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, along the boundaries of British Columbia and Alberta Provinces.

It is a 20-minute drive west of Lake Louise, another popular spot for engagement photos, you can check one session we did here, and 2.5 hours from the Calgary Airport.

When Mariana and Alfredo decided to do their engagement session I knew this was the place for them. They wanted a lake not so crowded because they are private people and they love to hike and be adventurous - I’m not!

This Lake offered everything we were looking for: A freshwater lake, stunning views, and something not too difficult to walk around the shoreline and take beautiful photos.

It’s pretty easy to figure out where Emerald Lake gets its name as the glacial waters refract light in a vibrant display of color. The color alone would be enough to move you, but the surrounding landscape leaves you speechless.

If for some reason you are getting married and you are considering not doing one, I would really as you to reconsider it, since I highly recommend it. It is a way to get to know your photographer and see how it works and how you feel to be in front of a camera. For me each engagement session is custom and unique, it has to reflect who you are individually and as a couple.

Let’s plan your session, shall we? Say hello, I can’t wait to create some magic alongside you!
