Danielle found us because we did her friend’s wedding in Jamaica, so when she contacted us, we were so happy!
She said she was going to get married in The Keys in Florida, a place we hadn’t been before so that excited us even more! We had a quick Zoom call to get to know us better and start planning everything.
The resort is at Key Largo, a secluded, luxurious resort right at the heart of the Keys. it has 6 styled residential bungalows that sleep up to 4 people and 1 big lounge that fits up to 8 people.
Doing your wedding here you’ll have 3-5 acres just for yourself and your lavish guests! The options to host your wedding are: The pier, and the beach both up to 102 guests.
For the brides getting ready we suggest the grand room, this Bali-inspired room with natural light, kitchen, bedroom, and a bar.
Since it was a destination wedding the event had three days of activities. Friday was rehearsal dinner, Saturday the wedding, and Sunday a pool party.
We were there to document everything! There were so many cool moments like when in the afterparty of the wedding day Tj started playing the sax, or when they exchanged their vows just the two of them alone and away from the crowd. In the beginning, TJ was hesitant that we recorded that but he felt so comfortable with us during the day that, at the end, he said -hell yes- you can be around and record it all! (and they were happy that we did record it!)
That weekend was full of joy, love, and a lot of party. As destination wedding photographers we love that we can spend the whole weekend with all their guests in the end it is the most amazing atmosphere and where we connect with them and they feel free to be who they are.
So the photos and video turned out so beautiful.
Key largo wedding
We recommend to rent a car so you can drive around the keys. the nearest airport is Miami but also FT. Lauradele is pretty close.
We are ready for our 2024 season, all the destination weddings we have, and the local ones in Calgary and Edmonton.
