Lebanese Wedding in Edmonton / Razzane + Eyad
This was our first wedding shot in Canada and our first wedding from another culture. In Mexico, weddings are all catholic or christians we don´t have a lot of cultural diversity.
We were excited to see how Lebanese weddings were and to be honest we were a little nervous too, but when those drums started playing we forgot about the rest, it was truly amazing!
Razanne and Eyad are super easy-going people, they trusted us from the first meeting in a cold evening at -30º in Edmonton and we have to be honest... they are a super hot couple.
From the moment we stepped in Razanne´s house, her family was great and we felt like part of the group too, and despite that things were a little hectic (as any other wedding) they managed to be calmed about it.
After finishing with Razanne´s getting ready and some family portraits we headed out to Sparta Greek Grill where we met Eyad and all of his family and friends, had lunch in there (btw, the food was great! you should go and check it out). As Eyad told me, its a big part of the celebration that they go in several cars making a lot noise until they get where the bride is at. Then the zaffe drummer led the entrance of Eyad´s side into finally getting the bride, We where amazed by how those drums bring that emotion up, specially because we didn´t know what to expect, the dancing started and Eyad "unveiled" Razanne, the rest became all part of an amazing celebration as you can see here at the pictures.
